Simone Baird
Simone Baird is Head of Masterclasses at the Guardian. She was previously Features Editor of Time Out, the London arts and entertainment magazine. She started her journalism career in Edinburgh at The List magazine before writing for Jockey Slut, Sleazenation, The Face, the Sunday Times Style magazine, NME, Muzik and several Australian broadsheets. She is a founder of Trashed, the online platform for young creative people, and she has been running workshops since 2002.
Alan Rutter
Alan Rutter is an online journalist and entrepreneur. He is a director and co-founder of Trashed, the online platform for young creative people. He is currently working on the iPad apps for Wired, GQ, Vanity Fair and Vogue, among other magazines. Prior to that he was Online Editor at Time Out, having also worked as Acting Deputy Editor and Features Editor on the magazine. He has over 10 years’ previous experience of working for magazines, both online and in print.
Mark Jenkins
Mark Jenkins is a web designer and blogger. He has produced work for Hilton Worldwide, Time Out, Virgin, Fallon and CTAD. He is also the founder of a UK blog network – UK Street Art, Fried My Little Brain (covering electronic music) and The Fat Seagull (covering streetwear T-shirt design) – and is also one of the founders and the designer/technical producer of Trashed,The online platform for young creative people.
