Photography
You don’t need expensive kit to take a good picture – and it’s actually better if you practice before investing in a posh camera. It’s possible to take brilliant shots using even the camera on your phone.

One type of photography that’s booming is ‘street style’ snaps – you’ll find examples of brilliant blogs to follow and tips on taking your own shots here.

Music and events
Making it in the music and events industries is tough – but don’t ever believe that it’s impossible. If you really want to succeed you’ll have to know the industry inside out, and that means more than being able to MC, play an instrument or sing.

On this website you’ll find plenty of Career Profiles of people working in the industry, including Paul Kennedy (PR Director), Andrew Spiro (entrepreneur), Nikhil Shah (DJ) and Chris Gold (club promoter).
